Another voice. Another message for someone who may never hear it.
In-game journal
Hopes And Dreams: Recording #2 is a recording lying in the Military Area, a scavenging area. The nearest fast travel post is Fast Travel: Horizon, about 220 m away in a straight line. It belongs to the Hopes and Dreams side quest, which sends you to find the recordings from the area.
On the tape, a parent pulls Danny's attention away from a distraction and towards a hard decision. Going back on foot is out of the question with the children, and Mina in particular would not make it. An idea from Danny draws an angry refusal. The speaker then passes on word of a soldier willing to sneak the youngest into the Slumber Project, and ends by asking whether he can be trusted and whether there is any other choice.
Like other recordings, it starts playing as soon as you pick it up. Recordings you pick up are kept in the journal, where the MEMOS page lets you play, pause and stop them.
