Ethan's story continues…
In-game journal
Ethan's Past #2 is an audio tape lying at the Solar Power Plant, a safe zone. The closest fast travel post is Fast Travel: Solar Fields, about 70 m away in a straight line, which makes it the natural place to start the trip. The tape belongs to Ethan's Past, a side quest about uncovering what became of Ethan in the Solar Fields.
On this tape Ethan picks up his story at the warehouse, where he meets people who welcome him. They are just as troubled by people going missing and have no answer for it either. Their doctor, Sonnenberg, puts the strange behaviour mostly down to hypothermia, and Ethan wonders what weapons were used in the trenches when fighting took place there. The tape starts playing as soon as you pick it up. Tapes you pick up stay in the journal, on its MEMOS page, with Play, Pause and Stop so you can hear them again.
