In-game journal
Hopes And Dreams: Recording #3 is a recording that lies in the Military Area, a scavenging area. The closest fast travel post is Fast Travel: Horizon, about 220 m from the area in a straight line. The recording is part of the side quest Hopes and Dreams, which has you searching the area for recordings.
The recording adds another piece to the story of what took place at the gates of the Slumber Project. A speaker, uneasy at first, is pushed to leave a short message for someone they love. They promise to come back to her and say how deeply they love her, while a baby cries nearby and the name Mina is spoken. It ends with the baby being handed over as time runs short. Picking the recording up starts it playing straight away, and it then stays in your journal, where the MEMOS page lets you play, pause or stop it again.
