In-game journal

There Were Six Of Us: Blackbird and Kite is a recording lying out in the open, away from any named place on the map. It belongs to the side quest There Were Six of Us, which sends you after the fate of a group of friends.

Blackbird and Kite, members of Urban Birds, meet in secret. Kite has put together a store of money through scavenging, trading and saving, and wants the couple to flee the frozen land together for a new life elsewhere. Blackbird turns the offer down for now, unwilling to leave while there is any hope for Harrier, Magpie and Shrike. Kite agrees to wait at the spot where the whole group gathered long ago. The recording plays as soon as you pick it up. Recordings you pick up stay in your journal, and the MEMOS page lets you play, pause or stop them at any time.
