The pilot of the crashed helicopter hints a larger story behind the accident…
In-game journal
Helicopter's Pilot Confession is a recording that lies in the Technocrats Colony, a safe zone. The closest fast travel post is Fast Travel: Church, about 300 m away in a straight line, so you can warp to the church and walk the short distance over to the colony to pick it up.
On the tape, the pilot of the downed helicopter admits that the crash was not a simple accident. He says he saw through the deceit of the people he was working with from the beginning and went along with their plan regardless. He then points to where the truth can still be found: somewhere along the route towards a shopping centre, close to a bridge. The recording starts playing as soon as you pick it up. Recordings you collect stay in your journal, and the MEMOS page keeps this one with Play, Pause and Stop controls, so you can listen to the pilot's account again whenever you want.
