In-game journal
Ethan's Past is a side quest in the Solar Fields quest line that puts you on the trail of Ethan Cane, who vanished somewhere around the Solar Fields. You begin by gathering word of his disappearance in the area, then follow his lead to a warehouse and collect what he left there. Next you question the locals about him, climb to the top of the Solar Facility, and search the summit to learn how things ended for him.
Along the way the quest points you to three recordings: Ethan's Past #1, Ethan's Past #2 and Ethan's Past #3.
