One bison to prove hunting skills for Skinwalker!
In-game journal
Bonanza is a side quest in the Woods quest line, and its goal is to pass the challenge Skinwalker sets you. Skinwalker wants proof that you can hunt, and a single bison is enough to settle it. The quest keeps you in the Woods from start to finish. First you hunt a bison, then you return to Skinwalker to report the kill, and finally you collect your reward.
The bison is the only animal the quest asks you to hunt, so your trip into the Woods is about tracking down that animal. Once you have reported back to Skinwalker, the reward is 50 Bucks along with the recipes for the Bison Hide Rug and the Bison Head Trophy. Both recipes are named after the animal you have just hunted.
