Locate and kill three foxes
In-game journal
What Does The Fox Say is a side quest in the Woods quest line, tied to Skinwalker. Its goal is to track down and kill 3 foxes, and the Woods is the region it sends you to for the hunt. The steps come in a fixed order. First you hunt the 3 foxes. Once they are down, you go back to Skinwalker and report. The last step is to collect your reward.
The fox is the only animal the quest asks for, and the hunting step is done after 3 kills. You need no specific materials or tools to finish it. Reporting back to Skinwalker earns you 1 Fox Head Hat and the recipe for the Fox Hide Rug, which you can then craft yourself.
