Track down Liam’s favorite spot

In-game journal

Separated is a side quest in the Horizon quest line, handed out by Robyn once Horizon's Kitchen is done. It sends you to track down Liam's favourite spot, a plateau on a crag a few minutes outside the gate of Horizon, the safe zone. To get up there, jump your way up the snowy rock ledges. On top you will see a collapsed tent, a cooler and a frozen body. Pick up the first tape, Liam's Confession #1, from the cooler by the tent, then the second, Liam's Confession #2, from the Wooden crate on the cliff edge. Each one starts playing as soon as you collect it. Once you have listened to both, head back to Robyn.

Look beside the cooler for a Recipe note that teaches Wooden Chest. A Coal Boulder sits on the cliff path under the plateau, so you can stop for it on the way up or back down. From the crag, the frozen river with the wrecked cars leads on to Bone Cave if you want to keep going before you return to Robyn.
