Hunter's Glade tower can be a good spot to pick the signal from Icarus
In-game journal
High Frequency is a main quest in the Woods line, and it opens once The Outpost is completed. The aim is to catch the signal from Icarus, and the tower at Hunter's Glade, an exploration zone, is the place to try. First you climb the tower. The cabin at the top is warm, and its desk holds a Recipe note along with the Recording that Return to Hunter's Glade asks for. Next you speak to Skinwalker, who stands beside a fire basket on the walkway. Then you renovate the tower, and finally you listen to the transmission from Icarus.
Renovating means repairing the damaged pieces of the tower cabin with the Building Tool, and an on-screen count tracks how many are left. Each repair costs Wood and raises your Renovating skill. Once the Bed is repaired, you can claim it as a respawn point. Press F at the tower's Radio Station Bench to play the transmission. That completes High Frequency and starts the next quest, The Way Home.
