Seifuku (searched most as “seifuku dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. Seifuku is the Japanese word for a school uniform: a short pleated skirt with a white shirt or sailor top, often with a blazer, in navy, white, grey or black. We built three looks in Freeplay Mode, a white tee with navy sleeve bows over a navy pleated skirt, a black blazer over a grey plaid skirt with chains, and an all-black version with a pale collar, and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece and color used is free, so all three work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: Wear a white tee with navy sleeve bows over a navy pleated mini skirt, with long straight black hair. Set the navy on the Wheel tab with the slider near the dark end; the Palette’s darkest blue reads royal blue.
Seifuku outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). A fresh Freeplay character starts in the base body: a blank head with no hair, a black top, black shorts and bare feet. In all three looks the top and skirt cover the base top and shorts, and all three are barefoot.
We did not find a sailor collar, a neck ribbon or tie, knee socks, loafers or a school bag. The sleeve bows in Look 1 and the pale collar in Look 3 are the closest stand-ins we found for the sailor-top details.
Look 1: White tee with navy bows and a navy pleated skirt
Our idea: the classic summer seifuku in navy and white, with a short pleated skirt, a plain white top with small navy bows and long straight black hair.

The finished look from the front: long straight black hair, a white fitted tee, the pale grey belt with its silver buckle and the navy pleated mini skirt, with bare feet.

From behind, the hair falls almost to the skirt, a small bun sits at the crown, and the navy bows show on the sleeves.

Look 2: Black blazer and grey plaid skirt
Our idea: the winter seifuku, with a dark blazer over the white top and a grey plaid pleated skirt. We kept Look 1’s white tee under the blazer.

The finished look from the front: long chestnut hair, a glossy black blazer with white buttons and a white layer at the neck, and the grey plaid skirt with its silver chains. We were still in Look 1’s hand-on-head pose.

From behind, the long chestnut hair covers most of the blazer, with the plaid skirt and its chains below.

Look 3: All-black seifuku with a pale collar
Our idea: a darker take with a collared black top, the same chained skirt in near-black, and black hair. This look swaps the top and recolors Look 2’s skirt and hair.

The finished look: long straight black hair, a black cropped knit top with elbow-length sleeves, a pale pink-white collar and white cuffs, a pale pink band at the hem, and the black pleated skirt with its silver chains.

From behind, the black hair hangs to the skirt, and the small bun shows at the crown again.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Seifuku
A seifuku is built on a few pieces: a short pleated skirt, a white or collared top, and a blazer or a sailor collar, in navy, white, grey or black. Look 1 is the light summer version in navy and white, Look 2 the winter version with a blazer and a plaid skirt, and Look 3 a darker version with the collar doing the work. Long straight hair keeps all three neat. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how any of them scores in a real round.
Look 2 and Look 3 use the chained skirt from our Punk outfit ideas. For other school and study looks, see our Favorite Show outfit ideas and Candlelit Library outfit ideas; for more plaid, see our Trip To London outfit ideas; and for a look in one color, see our Monochrome Mood outfit ideas.
How to get navy instead of bright blue
- Click the piece so it shows on you as a preview, and pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Preview” and so on).
- Open the Wheel tab, not the Palette.
- Click the blue at the top of the color area.
- Drag the brightness slider under it almost to the dark end. The HEX box shows the result; we used #04041f.
- Set every part, then press “Put On”. Colors set while previewing stay on the piece you wear.
To change a piece you already wear, including your hair, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the part again. To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture.
Seifuku colors on the Default palette
Rows count from the top of the palette, columns from the left. These are the spots we used for all three looks.
| Color | Column | Row | Used for |

| Royal blue (not navy) | 4 | 7 | What the Palette’s darkest blue looked like on the skirt in the hall’s light. We did not keep it. |
| White | 1 (far left) | 8 (bottom row) | Tee part 1; blazer part 2 |
| Light grey | 4 | 8 (bottom row) | Our first try on the Look 2 skirt; it read almost white |
| Grey | 6 | 8 (bottom row) | Look 2 skirt |
| Chestnut | 7 | 1 (top row) | Look 2 hair |
| Near-black | 8 | 8 (bottom row) | Look 3 skirt |
| Black | 9 (far right) | 8 (bottom row) | Look 3 top and hair |
Seifuku pieces to look for
None of these pieces has a name in the game, so look for them by place and shape. All of them are free and worked on our account with no VIP and 0 stars.
| Piece | Where | Colors we used |
|---|---|---|
| Freeplay spawn hall, skirts and trousers wall right of spawn, lower-left shelf | Look 1: part 1 navy with the Wheel (HEX #04041f); parts 2 and 3 left as they are, so the belt stays pale grey | |
| Dressing Room tops wall, middle unit, middle shelf, far left | Looks 1 and 2: part 1 white (column 1, row 8), part 2 (Bows) navy with the Wheel (HEX #04041f) | |
| Lana’s Salon hair chairs, Hairstyles, Straight tab, first card | Look 1: kept its own near-black; Look 3: black (column 9, row 8) | |
| Dressing Room tops wall, left unit, top shelf, far right | Look 2: part 1 left black, part 2 white (column 1, row 8) for the inner layer at the V neck | |
| Halloween display in the Dressing Room, mannequin front-left of center | Look 2: grey (column 6, row 8) from the Wearing panel; the plaid shows at this grey | |
| Recolored from the Wearing panel | Look 2: chestnut (column 7, row 1) | |
| Dressing Room tops wall, left unit, middle shelf | Look 3: black (column 9, row 8); the collar, cuffs and a pale pink band at the hem stay light | |
| Recolored from the Wearing panel | Look 3: near-black (column 8, row 8); the plaid no longer shows |
Poses for Seifuku
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; a hand on the head or hands on the hips suit a school-photo look. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and get the navy right without a round running out. That matters here: the navy takes a trip to the Wheel tab, the tops wall is crowded enough to put on the wrong piece, and the skirt grey needs a second try. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which colors and which parts to go to when Seifuku comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Seifuku as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Seifuku to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Seifuku, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not find a sailor collar, a neck ribbon or tie, knee socks, loafers or a school bag, and did not search every shelf for them. We did not try twin tails or a pastel version. All three looks are barefoot, and we added no makeup or accessories. Looks 2 and 3 recolor the same hair and skirt rather than using new pieces. They were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What is the Seifuku theme in Dress To Impress?
The game gives only the theme’s name. Seifuku is the Japanese word for a school uniform, so the theme asks for a short pleated skirt, a white or collared top, often a blazer, in navy, white, grey or black.
Can I do Seifuku without VIP?
Yes. All three looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece and color used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them.
Is there a sailor uniform in Dress To Impress?
We did not find a sailor collar or a sailor top. The white tee with navy sleeve bows and the black top with a pale collar are the closest free stand-ins we found.
Where is the pleated skirt?
The plain pleated skirt is on the lower-left shelf of the skirts and trousers wall in the Freeplay spawn hall. The chained pleated skirt is on the front-left mannequin of the Halloween display in the Dressing Room.
Why does my navy look bright blue?
The Palette’s darkest blue reads as royal blue in the hall’s light. Use the Wheel tab instead and drag the brightness slider almost to the dark end; we used HEX #04041f.
Where is the black blazer?
On the left unit of the Dressing Room tops wall, at the far right of the top shelf. Leave part 1 black and set part 2 white for the layer at the neck.
