Lazy But Cute Dress To Impress: 2 Comfy Outfit Ideas (Lilac Cami Set and Pastel Robe)

Two complete Freeplay looks, with shelf locations, palette colours, and fixes for pastels that wash out on the runway.

Two complete Freeplay looks, with shelf locations, palette colours, and fixes for pastels that wash out on the runway.

Lazy But Cute (searched a lot as “lazy but cute dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so the reading here is ours: comfy loungewear that still looks put together. Think soft pastels, a cami and shorts, fluffy warmers or a long robe, the kind of outfit you would wear around the house and still be happy to be seen in. We built both looks in Freeplay Mode and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece, colour, material and pose used is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.

Quick answer: Go comfy but cute in soft pastels: a pale lilac cami with pink drawstring shorts and fluffy lilac arm warmers, or a long pink-lilac robe with a pink sash and a white hood scarf.

Lazy But Cute outfit ideas in Dress To Impress

Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the exact spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). Both looks use the same long straight hair, recoloured for each.

Look 1: Pastel cami and drawstring shorts with fluffy arm warmers

Our idea: a pastel lounge set, the cami-and-shorts kind you would sleep or relax in, made cute with bows and fluffy warmers. The cami is on the tops shelf, and the shorts and arm warmers are on the left-wall shelf.

Start with only your hair on. Ours was long straight auburn-brown hair; take anything else off with the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel.

The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered; the cami and shorts cover them in this look.

Go to the tops shelf in the Dressing Room, to the right of the boho mannequin. In the middle row, second from the left, is a pale blue-lilac cami with thin straps and a lace-up front.

Click the cami. Its colour panel opens at “1/5: Top”. Set every part now, while it is previewing: the top to pastel lilac (column 3, row 2) with Light Silk.

Step to “2/5: Text” with the arrow and set it to white (column 1, row 8) with Matte.

Click the floating “Put On” label. The Wearing panel now shows two pictures: the hair and the cami.

Go to the left-wall shelf: from the tops shelf, turn left and walk, then turn right and walk up to it. Black drawstring shorts are the second piece on the top shelf.

We set the colours here while previewing, then pressed “Put On”: “1/3: Preview” pink and “2/3: Preview” white. That turned out wrong, because part 2/3 is the shorts’ main colour, so they read white on the runway. Step 14 fixes it; set “2/3: Preview” pink here and you can skip that step.

Our first try: "2/3: Preview" set white.
On the same shelf, top right, are white fluffy arm warmers. Click them (the panel shows “1/1: Preview”).

Walk to the Freeplay Runway. The Wearing panel now shows four pictures: the hair, the cami, the shorts and the arm warmers. Click the hair’s picture and set “1/1: Preview” to pale golden blonde (column 9, row 3) with Silk.

Click the shorts’ picture in the Wearing panel, step to “2/3: Preview” and set it to pink (column 2, row 3) with Light Silk. Keep “1/3: Preview” pink and set “3/3: Preview” to white (column 1, row 8) with Matte.

"2/3: Preview" set pink: the shorts turn pink.

The finished look is a very pale lilac cami, almost white under the runway lights, with a pink bow and pink ties at the neckline and thin straps, bubblegum pink shorts with a white drawstring, fluffy lilac-pink arm warmers from the wrist to above the elbow, long pale blonde hair and bare feet.

Open Poses and pick Lilac under Solo: one hand goes on the hip. We have no clean picture of this pose for Look 1.

Look 2: Long pink-lilac robe with a hood scarf

Our idea: the robe you throw on after a lazy morning, in soft pastels instead of plain white. One mannequin holds both pieces: a hood scarf and a long robe.

In the Wearing panel, take off the cami, the shorts and the arm warmers with the heart X under each picture. Keep the hair, which is still pale blonde from Look 1.

Go to the short-dress shelf in the Dressing Room. Just to its right stands a mannequin in a long white hooded robe.

Click HIGH on the mannequin, on the hood. The panel opens at “1/2: Preview”, and this click wears only a white hood scarf with a pink lining. Closing the panel kept it on for us.

We set the robe to light grey (column 2, row 8) with Light Silk at the mannequin. Both pieces stayed on after we closed the panel.

The finished look is a long, floor-length pink-lilac robe with wide sleeves and a thin pink sash at the waist, a white hood scarf wrapped round the neck and over the head, and long chestnut-brown hair.

Why these looks read as Lazy But Cute

The “lazy” half comes from the shapes: a cami and shorts you could sleep in, or one long robe thrown over everything, with bare feet and long, loose hair. The “cute” half comes from the details and the colours. Keep to soft pastels such as lilac, pastel pink and white, and add small bows, fluffy warmers or a hood so the outfit looks chosen rather than forgotten. Pick colours from row 3 of the palette rather than the palest row, so the pastels still show under the runway lights. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round. For another all-pastel theme, see our Cotton Candy Couture outfit ideas.

How to recolour a piece and set its material

  1. Click the piece on its shelf or mannequin. For a piece you have not put on yet, set its colours while it is previewing, then press “Put On”. For a piece you already wear, click its picture in the Wearing panel.
  2. Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/5: Top”, “2/5: Text” and so on). Each part takes its own colour and material. On a multi-part piece the first part is not always the main colour: on the drawstring shorts it is part 2/3.
  3. Set the material, such as Matte, Silk or Light Silk.
  4. Choose its colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette: columns are hues, rows run light to dark, row 1 holds browns and tans, and row 8 runs from white to black). The Wheel tab next to it shows the colour’s HEX code.
  5. Repeat for every part. The colours stay on the piece after you close the panel.

To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. Light Silk in the palest row (row 2) and in the grey row can read as white under the runway lights, so check each piece on the runway before you call a look done.

Poses for Lazy But Cute

We used Lilac for the cami set and Pearly for the robe, both free under Solo in the Poses menu. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.

Building it in Freeplay Mode first

Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find out which pastels survive the runway lights: our first shorts and our first grey robe both read white there and had to be redone. The cami alone has five parts to colour. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Lazy But Cute comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Instagram Model, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Summer Camp, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth, Wonderland, Trip To London, Pop Art Princess, Sugar And Spice, Paranormal Investigator, Cursed Lagoon, Complementary Colors, Galactic Glam, Dancer, Midnight Circus, Jellyfish, Garden Tea Party, Enchanted Curse, Harvest Festival, Thrifted and Possessed outfit ideas.

How a theme round works

We have not had Lazy But Cute as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.

The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Lazy But Cute to roll.

What we have not checked

No round we joined rolled Lazy But Cute, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not look for slippers, a pillow, a blanket or a mug, and we did not open the hood scarf’s second part (2/2). Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.

FAQ

What is Lazy But Cute in Dress To Impress?

The game gives only the theme’s name. We read it as comfy loungewear that still looks put together: soft pastels, a cami and shorts, fluffy warmers or a long robe, finished with small details such as bows.

Can I do Lazy But Cute without VIP?

Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, colour, material and pose used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them.

Where is the robe in Dress To Impress?

In the Dressing Room, on the mannequin in a long white hooded robe just right of the short-dress shelf. Click low on the robe’s skirt to get the long robe; a click high on the hood gives only the hood scarf. Both are free.

Where is the lilac cami?

On the tops shelf to the right of the boho mannequin in the Dressing Room: middle row, second from the left. It looks pale blue-lilac on the shelf and has a lace-up front and five colour parts.

Where are the drawstring shorts and the fluffy arm warmers?

Both are on the left-wall shelf of the Dressing Room: the black drawstring shorts are second on the top shelf, and the white fluffy arm warmers are at the top right.

Why do my pastel shorts or robe look white on the runway?

Two reasons we ran into. The palest row of the palette and the grey row can read white under the runway lights, so use row 3 pastels. And on the drawstring shorts, the main colour is part 2/3, not part 1/3.
