Boardwalk Babe (searched most as “boardwalk babe dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so we read it as a sunny day on a seaside boardwalk: a denim or white mini skirt, a tube or bow top, a wide straw sun hat, white or pink sneakers, long beachy waves and a bright, glowy face. We built two looks in Freeplay Mode and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece here opened without Robux, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: For Boardwalk Babe, pair a wide straw sun hat and sage tube top with a light denim mini and white sneakers, or a white bow bandeau with a white plaid pleated mini and pink sneakers. Add long honey waves.
Boardwalk Babe outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and its color: the HEX code the color panel shows, or the spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). Set a piece’s colors while it is still a preview, then press “Put On”. The black top and shorts in the early pictures are the base body; the clothes cover them.
We found no sandals, sunglasses, bikini, beach bag or boardwalk prop on the shelves we visited. So the seaside cue here comes from the sun hat, the denim and the white-and-pink summer colors.
Look 1: Straw sun hat with a sage tube top and denim mini
Our idea: a day out on the pier in a wide straw hat, a simple tube top, a light-wash denim mini and clean white sneakers.

The finished look on the Freeplay Runway: the wide straw hat, the honey waves and bangs, the sage tube top, the light denim mini and the white sneakers.

From behind, the long waves fall from under the hat’s lace-trimmed brim over the bare back, above the denim mini.

Look 2: White bow bandeau with a white plaid pleated mini
Our idea: a sweeter seaside look in white and pastel pink, keeping the same honey waves and soft glam face from Look 1.
A newly put-on top does not replace the old one, so take Look 1’s pieces off first. The Wearing panel for Look 1 shows five pieces: the skirt, the tube top, the hat, the hair and the sneakers.

Up close on the runway: the white bow bandeau, the plaid pleats and the pink waistband, with the honey waves over the shoulders.

From behind, the waves fall over the bare back, above the pink waistband and the white plaid pleats, with the pink sneakers below.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Boardwalk Babe
A boardwalk day is sun, sea air and easy summer pieces: a sun hat, denim, a short skirt, a simple top and sneakers you can walk the pier in. Look 1 leans into that with the wide straw hat, the tube top and the light-wash denim, and the Pearly pose of shading the eyes against the sun. Look 2 keeps it bright with white and pastel pink. The long honey waves and the glowy face give both a sun-kissed feel. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolor a piece
- Click the piece so it shows on you as a preview, and pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/4: Preview” and so on).
- Click a heart on the Palette for that part, or a spot on the Wheel tab. The color panel shows the part’s HEX code.
- Press “Put On”. Colors set while previewing stay on the piece you wear.
- To change a piece you already wear, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the color again. To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture.

Poses for Boardwalk Babe
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; the Solo list starts with Satin, Lilac, Dazzle, Pearly, Crystal, Sparkle and Daisy. We used Pearly, a hand shading the eyes, for the straw hat look and Dazzle for the white pleated look. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and set the colors without a round running out. That matters here: the denim skirt is on the trousers wall, the tops are on the tops wall, the hat is on the boho mannequin, the pleated skirt is on the Halloween display, the sneakers are on the shoe shelf, and the hair and face are in Lana’s Salon. Once a look works, you know where to go when Boardwalk Babe comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Boardwalk Babe as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Boardwalk Babe to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Boardwalk Babe, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not find sandals, sunglasses, a bikini, a beach bag or a boardwalk prop on the shelves we visited, but we did not search every shelf in the game. We did not open the tube top’s second part or the hat’s other two parts. A curly bun for Look 2 was planned but not built, so both looks keep the waves. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What is Boardwalk Babe in Dress To Impress?
It is a round theme. The game shows only the name, so players dress for a summer day on a seaside boardwalk: sun hats, denim, mini skirts, tube or bandeau tops, sneakers and beachy hair.
What should I wear for Boardwalk Babe in DTI?
A wide straw sun hat, a pale sage tube top, a light-wash denim mini and white sneakers with long honey waves, or a white bow bandeau with a white plaid pleated mini, a pink waistband and pink-and-white sneakers.
Can I do Boardwalk Babe without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, face card and color used here worked on it.
Where is the straw sun hat in Dress To Impress?
On the boho mannequin beside the tops wall in the Dressing Room, the one in a white lace dress, a tan vest and brown boots. Click the hat’s brim so only the hat opens (“1/3: Hat”), then press “Put On”.
How do I make sneakers white or pink in DTI?
Click the sneakers so they preview on you, open Palette and click a color for part 1, then step through parts 2, 3 and 4 with the arrow beside the part name and color each one. We used white on all four for Look 1, and pastel pink on parts 1 and 3 with white on 2 and 4 for Look 2.
How do I take off a top I already put on?
A new top does not replace the old one. Open the Wearing panel and click the heart X under the old piece’s picture to take it off.
