Cloud 9 (searched most as “cloud 9 dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so we read it as a dreamy, floating-in-the-sky look: white and pale sky blue, fluffy or ruffled pieces, a soft light face and pale hair. We built two looks in Freeplay Mode and took our own pictures of every step. Every piece and color here worked without Robux, so both looks work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: For Cloud 9, wear the white fluffy fur jacket over the white ruffle corset mini with pale blue ankle-strap heels, white hair and a soft pink glam face, or a pale sky-blue tiered ruffle gown with icy blue hair.
Cloud 9 outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and its color: the spot we used on the Default palette of the Palette tab. Columns run from the left (red first, blue fourth, cyan fifth) and rows from light at the top to dark at the bottom; the bottom row starts with white. Set a piece’s colors while it is still a preview, then press “Put On”. To change something you already wear, click its picture in the Wearing panel. The black top and shorts in some pictures are the base body.
The two looks start from different pieces: Look 1 is a party-dress mini under a fur jacket, Look 2 a long tiered ruffle skirt. Both keep the same pale blue heels and soft pink face, so Look 2 starts by taking Look 1’s clothes off. We did not find free wings or a halo, and neither look uses props or accessories.
Look 1: All-white fluffy cloud
Our idea: dress like one soft white cloud, with a puffy fur jacket over a ruffled mini, a hint of sky blue at the feet and white hair.

The finished look on the Freeplay Runway: white hair, the soft pink glam face, the white fluffy fur jacket, the white ruffle mini and the pale blue heels.

From the far end of the runway, the whole look reads as one bright, fluffy white shape against the purple carpet.

From the side, the white corset with its lacing shows under the jacket, and the long white hair falls down the back.

Look 2: Pale sky-blue ruffle gown
Our idea: the clear sky around the cloud, a floor-length tiered ruffle skirt in pale blue and white with icy blue hair.

The finished look on the runway: icy blue hair, the soft pink glam face and the pale blue tiered gown. On us the gown is a skirt only, so the black base top shows above it. For a cleaner look, add a white or pale top from the tops wall; we did not.

From the side, the tiers of ruffles flare out toward the floor, with the long icy blue hair down the back.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Cloud 9
“On cloud nine” means blissfully happy, and the theme’s name points at the sky. Look 1 is the cloud itself: all white, fluffy and soft, with only the heels hinting at blue. Look 2 is the sky around it, a pale blue gown with layered ruffles that move like drifting cloud, and pale icy hair. Both keep the face soft and pink, nothing dark or heavy. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolor a piece white or pale blue
- Click the piece so it shows on you as a preview, and pick the part with the arrow beside the part name (“1/5: Preview”, “1/5: Skirt” and so on).
- Open the Palette tab on the Default palette and click a heart for that part. White is the first heart of the bottom row; pale blue is column 4, row 2; icy blue is column 5, row 2.
- Step to the next part and set it the same way. Each part keeps its own color.
- Press “Put On”. To change a piece you already wear, such as your hair, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the color again. To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture.
Cloud 9 colors on the Default palette
Rows count from the top of the palette, columns from the left. These are the spots we used; the heels and the fur jacket keep their default colors.
| Color | Column | Row | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| White | 1 | 8 (bottom row, first heart) | Look 1 hair, corset parts 2 and 4; Look 2 parts 2, 3 and Hemline |
| Pale blue | 4 | 2 | Look 1 corset parts 1, 3 and 5; Look 2 Skirt and Belt |
| Icy blue | 5 | 2 | Look 2 hair |

Poses for Cloud 9
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; the Solo list starts with Satin, Lilac, Dazzle and Pearly. We used Dazzle for the white fluffy look and Pearly, a hand raised to the head, for the pale blue gown. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and set every part’s color without a round running out. The jacket and heels are at the shoe shelf, the mini and the tiered gown at the party-dress shelf a few steps away, and the face in Lana’s Salon. Once a look works, you know where to go when Cloud 9 comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Cloud 9 as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Cloud 9 to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Cloud 9, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not find wings, a halo or any cloud prop, and we did not search every shelf for them. We did not add a top over Look 2’s black base top, and we did not try other materials or hairstyles. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What is Cloud 9 in Dress To Impress?
It is a round theme. The game shows only the name, so players dress for a dreamy, heavenly sky look: white and pale blue, fluffy or ruffled pieces, soft makeup and pale hair.
What should I wear for Cloud 9 in DTI?
A white fluffy fur jacket over a white ruffle corset mini with pale blue ankle-strap heels, white hair and a soft pink glam face, or a floor-length pale sky-blue tiered ruffle gown with icy blue hair.
Can I do Cloud 9 without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, face card and color used here worked on it.
Are there free wings or a halo for Cloud 9?
We did not find any in Freeplay Mode, so neither look uses them. The fluffy jacket and the ruffles carry the cloud feel instead.
Where is the fluffy white jacket in DTI?
In the Dressing Room, on its own stand right next to the shoe shelf. The pale blue ankle-strap heels are on that shoe shelf, at the right end of the middle shelf.
How do I make my hair white or blue?
Open the Wearing panel, click the hair picture and pick a color on the Palette tab. We used white (bottom row, first heart) for Look 1 and icy blue (column 5, row 2) for Look 2.
